2022 - COL launched a digital collection platform,The Fifth Realm. It is an IP digital collection platform with a content ecosystem.

2022 - COL and School of Journalism and Communication, Tsinghua University jointly founded the "Metaverse Culture Laboratory". This was China’s first culture-related Metaverse laboratory.

2022 – COL's thriller label "Mystery Project" was launched.

2021 - COL launched the premium paid original content website wanzhangbook.com and the science fiction label "Scifidea".

2020 - COL signed a strategic contract with the Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences to conduct collaborative research and experiment on a new digital education system.

2015 - In September, COL was officially established as the first digital publishing group in China.

2015 - On January 21, COL was successfully listed on the ChiNext of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and became China's "first digital publishing stock".

2014 - COL made a strategic investment in E-surfing Reading Culture Communications Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China Telecom, and became the second largest shareholder, following China Telecom.

2013 - COL established the first Internet Literature University. Mo Yan is the honorary president, and Tong Zhilei is the president.

2012 - COL accomplished the first synchronous digital publishing of the Party's 18th National Congress documents and learning guidance reading materials.

2011 - COL participated in "E-Schoolbag", the system reform pilot project of the Ministry of Education of the PRC. This means that the Chinese "E-Schoolbag" industry has officially entered the stage of educational practice and the whole industry chain cooperation.

2010 - COL became the one and only integrated partner in technology, content, and product of the "National Program for Popularizing County-level Digital Library" launched by the National Library of China, assisting with the largest key project of "culture benefiting the mass" in China.

2009 - COL set up online "National Reading" and received great support from the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the National Press and Publication Administration.

2009 - COL established "Shuxiang China" (chineseall.cn). It's the national digital library for elementary education and the public reading service platform.

2008 - COL reached a strategic partnership with China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) and became an operation partner of China Mobile Read (CMRead.com), helping to build the largest Chinese wireless reading platform in Asia.

2008 – "If You Are the One" was published in the form of omni media for the first time, sparking a new revolution in digital publishing industry in the era of omni media.

2007 - COL collaborated with China Mobile to conduct the First Monternet Original Fiction Contest, which made headlines in China's wireless reading service industry.

2006 - COL set up the web fiction website 17K.com and fully entered the field of original web fiction to build the portal for integrated reading of global Chinese fiction.

2005 - COL initiated the establishment of the Chinese “Online Alliance of Anti-Piracy”, which was greatly supported by the National Copyright Administration of the PRC and the Publishers Association of China.

2002 - COL took the lead in launching the "Digital Library in Primary and Secondary Schools" during the "10th Five-Year Plan," which marked the first application of development achievement of the digital publishing industry in China's basic education field.

2000 - COL was founded at Tsinghua University. The startup was greatly supported by cultural celebrities including Ba Jin and Yu Qiuyu.

2000 - “COL Business Plan” won the first Gold Award prize of the First Entrepreneurship Competition in China.
