Development History

Since its inception, ChineseAll has been greatly supported by many cultural celebrities including Ba Jin and Yu Qiuyu.   • 2000—— “ChineseAll Business Plan” won the first prize of the Gold Award of the First China Entrepreneurship Competition.
  • 2000——ChineseAll was founded in Tsinghua University, greatly supported by cultural celebrities including Ba Jin and Yu Qiuyu.
  • 2002——ChineseAll undertook the project of Ministry of Education of the PRC during the “10th Five-Year Plan”, took the lead to launch the “Digital Library in Primary and Secondary Schools”, which marked the first application of development achievement of digital publishing industry in basic education field in China.
  • 2005——ChineseAll initiated the establishment of Chinese “Online Alliance of Anti-Piracy”, which was greatly supported by the National Copyright Administration of the PRC and The Publishers Association of China.
  • 2006——ChineseAll set up 17K.com the fiction website and fully entered the field of original network literature, to build the portal for integrated reading of global Chinese fictions.
  • 2007——ChineseAll cooperated with China Mobile in holding the First Monternet Original Fiction Contest, which is breaking new in genuine wireless reading service field in China.
  • 2008——If You Are The One was published in the form of omnimedia for the first time, which set off a new revolution of digital publishing industry in the era of omnimedia.
  • 2008——ChineseAll and Hanvon jointly launched the handheld reading business, and initiated the “built-in and profit-sharing” business model for the content provider and the handheld reader manufacturer.
  • 2008——ChineseAll reached a strategic partnership with China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) and became a core carrier partner of China Mobile Read (CMRead.com), helping to build the largest Chinese wireless reading platform in Asia.
  • 2009——ChineseAll established “Shuxiang China” (chineseall.cn), the national digital library for basic education and the public reading service platform.
  • 2009——ChineseAll set up online “National Reading” (szsky.com) and achieved great support of Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the PRC.
  • 2010——ChineseAll became the one and only integrated partner in technology, content and product of “National Program for Popularizing County-level Digital Library” launched by National Library of China, assisting with the largest fundamental project of “culture benefiting the mass” in China.
  • 2011——ChineseAll participated in “E-Schoolbag”, the system reform pilot project of Ministry of Education of the PRC. This means that Chinese “E-Schoolbag” industry has officially entered the stage of education practice and the whole industry chain cooperation.
  • 2012——ChineseAll achieved synchronous digital publishing of the documents and learning guidance books of the 18th National People’s Congress of the CPC for the first time.
  • 2012——ChineseAll won the title of “National Copyright Demonstration Unit” awarded by the National Copyright Administration of the PRC.
  • 2013——ChineseAll established the first Internet Literature University. Mo Yan serves as the honorary president and Tong Zhilei serves as the president.
  • 2014——ChineseAll made a strategic investment in E-surfing Reading of China Telecom, becoming the second largest shareholder of E-surfing Reading, following China Telecom.
  • 2015——ChineseAll successfully landed on the GEM of Shenzhen Stock Exchange on January 21, officially listed and became the “first digital publishing stock” in China.
  • 2015——ChineseAll Digital Publishing Group Co., Ltd. was officially established in September as the first digital publishing group in China.
  • 2016——Private placement of RMB 2 billion landed on August 8 boosted the two major strategies of “Literature+” and “Education+”.
  • 2016——ChineseAll invested in Sina Reading on August 31 and improved the pan entertainment ecosystem.
